Air conditioning – information on types available to me, and ballpark figures for supply, install and warranty included please.

I live on a 2nd floor flat. I would like two quotes – one for installing a “multi split” system for two-room coverage (lounge and main bedroom), or two separate systems one in each room if you think that is more appropriate. Second, a quote if I don’t manage to get building work permission for my flat (I probably will not!). I have heard of systems that can be installed without the outdoor unit – and instead just have vents that go through the wall. Lounge size is roughly 4.1m x 4.1m, bedroom is about half that. Flat doesn’t receive much sunlight but gets VERY warm – mainly due to keeping doors and windows closed!
