work description: i’m looking at installing an ac system into a large room we have on the back of our house. the room is about 12 x 4m, single storey and has 6 skylights, 5 door wide bi-folding doors and 2 large windows and is south facing.
as a result it can be too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. it has underfloor heating but that is really expensive to run and no use in the summer. the room is not a conservatory as it has a solid roof and walls – just a lot of glass. we have space on one side to put the outdoor unit on the ground and i’m pretty sure we have sufficient power.
